Hello Elvis fans!
I am Asoka Weerasinghe, an Elvis fan since ‘way down’ when!
It feels nice to sit down again and write something about Elvis whom we all love
Back in Nineteen Sixties I published an Elvis Newsletter named Fab-El.

In 2009 January, I posted this web on the Internet, but did not do much about it. but concentrated on the facebook, ELVIS JUKE BOX started on, July 15th 2008, which drew attention Internationally and was full of Elvis songs from Youtube, couple of videos I did, all kind of tit bits about Elvis,

On 2nd October, 2010 this FB topped 1000 fans and gets about 50-60 interactions everyday from fans all over the globe.

With all the new information technology available now-a-days I dreamed of doing it again, so will be publishing a news filled Bulletin that anyone can view on the Internet.
I call it “elvis-srilanka”~to stamp Elvis Presley's global presence and popularity.

9:30 a.m. Front lawn of Graceland. Enjoy a ceremony with Graceland/EPE officials, a birthday cake cutting and a proclamation of Elvis Presley Day by Memphis and Shelby County officials. Free admission. Complimentary birthday cake and coffee served at the Chrome Grille restaurant across the street from the mansion following the ceremony. Not able to be in Memphis? Conversations on Elvis
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Memphis Marriott East, 2625 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Memphis. Hear stories from Elvis' friends, bandmates and more, as they share some of their favorite memories. Special guests tba.Tickets are $20.00 and will go on sale this fall.

Memphis Symphony Orchestra presents Elvis Birthday Pops
8:00 p.m. The Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 North Main Street in downtown Memphis. Celebrate the king's birthday with this annual tribute. Terry Mike Jeffrey and his band return for another hip shakin' concert performing Elvis' chart-topping hits that will have you on your feet. Steven Reineke conducts.
